Doctor of Philosophy in Education (Ph.D – Education)

COURSE DETAILS

The PhD in Education is a full-time doctoral program that typically takes 3-8 years to complete. This program is designed for students who want to advance their knowledge and skills in the field of education, and become experts in research, teaching, and leadership. Scholars have the opportunity to work closely with the faculty members on different research projects, and to conduct their own independent research.

The curriculum for the PhD in Education program includes a combination of core and elective
courses, as well as comprehensive examination and dissertation. The PhD scheme of study is as

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants to the PhD in Education program are expected to have a strong academic record and a
demonstrated interest in research in the field of education. Admission requirements may include:
• 18 years of schooling, applicants must hold M.Phil (Education) and previously bachelor’s
and Master’s degree in the relevant field.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.00 is required in M.Phil.
• Attested academic documents and equivalency (if required) from HEC.
• NTS-GAT (Subject) / University GAT test score
• Statement of purpose
• A research proposal (highlighting idea on which you intend to research)
